We are delighted to announce that fashion retailer Dolls Kill has gone fur free! We want to thank everyone who reached out to Dolls Kill, and asked them to sprinkle some compassion in their fashion. Dolls Kill has been incredibly cooperative with us, and is committed to keeping real fur out of their merchandise.
Not only has Dolls Kill removed all fur from their website, they have chosen to donate the remaining foxtail keychains to the “Coats For Cubs” program. These furs will be sent to a wildlife rehabilitator who will use them to aid and comfort orphaned wildlife.
Dolls Kill has also come out with their own line of “Freaking Faux Fur Foxtails” that are 100% cruelty free, proving that you can still be fabulous in faux.
All of us at Fur Free LA want to express our deepest gratitude to Dolls Kill for their compassion, and commitment to the fur free cause. Thank you! 💜
Whether it’s a necklace, an earring, or a tail hanging from a belt-loop, this trend is disturbing on several fronts and it’s spreading faster than you can imagine among young, cool, and ironic fashion consumers who want to dress like rebels (yet fail to be rebellious in any real sense, funding one of the most powerful, heartless and evil empires in the fashion world: the fur industry.)
One of the most VILE and DISGUSTING “fashion” trends this season are foxtails / fur tails. Yes, there are fake fur tails, but the majority of fur tails are made of real fur.
That’s right, animals lost their lives for a keychain that you can hang off your purse or clip to your belt. One of the biggest retailers for foxtails is Dolls Kill, who’s name seems oddly appropriate given the amount of animals that died for their product.
Please voice your concerns to Dolls Kill. You can reach them on Facebook, Twitter, or contact them directly. Let them know you will NOT be shopping with them until they STOP selling these horrible carcass ridden accessories.
