We had some bad luck with the weather at our inaugural Kitson: Please Stop Selling Fur demo, but we won’t let a little rain prevent us from being a voice for the voiceless.
To those of you that came out yesterday and braved the rain, I cannot thank you enough. So let’s try this again, shall we?

It was decided that July 7th from 1-4pm was the best time to accommodate everyone for our second INTERMIX demo in Beverly Hills.

This is a peaceful protest, and we encourage you to dress up. Not cocktail hour, but we want to show INTERMIX what kind of customers they’ve lost because they sell fur. We believe these protests should also be fun and inspire change, not instill fear.

*** Update. Some of the notes on this post are misinformed. If animals are trapped in the wild, at least they had a life unlike the animals that were raised up on fur farms. However, many animals not intended for those traps, get caught.
This poll isn’t about trapping. Read the post and the poll question. This is a “YES I support the fur industry” or “NO I think the fur trade is barbaric and cruel.”

The images from this Norwegian fur farm are HEARTBREAKING. These poor animals have to live their whole lives in the most vile of conditions before they are slaughtered and too often, skinned alive.
INTERMIX has to kill (typically by way of anal electrocution) up to 15 arctic foxes for ONE of their fur vests…
Please take a moment to tweet at @INTERMIX, leave them a facebook comment, sign our petition, and especially join our Fur Free Photo Campaign to let INTERMIX know you will NOT be shopping with them until they stop selling fur.
