I took a trip to INTERMIX in Malibu and guess what I found? A two for one special of animal abuse! Oh INTERMIX, how you disappoint me!

You had Helmut Lang make an exclusive rabbit fur jacket for INTERMIX? Oh, and it’s “Made in China?” How very ethically sourced of you! Tell me, how many bunnies do you think had to be killed for that coat? I’m going to guess around 30. It usually takes 30-40 rabbits, but seeing as the rest of this Flux fur jacket is made from the slaughtered flesh of lambs, it’s probably a little less.

INTERMIX had the opportunity last season to stop selling fur and put compassion in fashion. Instead, they chose to ignore our pleas of compassion. Their buyers decided to slap us in the face with a replenished stock of animal skins and a fur exclusive to their store.

Tell me INTERMIX, do you enjoy making money off of animals that have been anally or vaginally electrocuted ⚡before they’ve had their throats slit? I guess so. Why else would you continue to sell such abhorrent animal cruelty?

This campaign will have it’s one year anniversary in October. Playing the ignorance card is no longer an option. We’ve informed you, and you’ve ignored us and continued to sell animal flesh. Thanks to your continued grotesque displays of fashion, we will continue protest for the animals.

INTERMIX, I implore you, STOP SELLING FUR.

*** Update. Some of the notes on this post are misinformed. If animals are trapped in the wild, at least they had a life unlike the animals that were raised up on fur farms. However, many animals not intended for those traps, get caught.

The images from this Norwegian fur farm are HEARTBREAKING. These poor animals have to live their whole lives in the most vile of conditions before they are slaughtered and too often, skinned alive.

INTERMIX has to kill (typically by way of anal electrocution) up to 15 arctic foxes for ONE of their fur vests…

Over 2 million dogs and cats are slaughtered every year for their coats, with most pelts coming from Asia. Because they are extremely difficult to identify, most shoppers don’t know their fur has been made with dog and cat fur.
